The Philadelphia Phillies haven't even opened the second half of their 2024 schedule, and we're still 12 days away from the July 30 trade deadline, but we are already looking ahead to next season. On Thursday, the team unveiled its 2025 regular season schedule.
There are a few highlights and key dates to know.
2025 Phillies Schedule includes plenty of early NL East matchups
The Phillies open the season on the road against the NL East rival Washington Nationals, with Opening Day set for Thursday, March 27. The nice thing for the Phillies and the fans is that they only play that three-game series in the nation's capital before heading to Philly to open the home schedule at Citizens Bank Park.
The first homestand sees a pair of unlikely visitors hitting the East Coast early next year. The Colorado Rockies come to town for a three-game series, with the Home Opener scheduled for Monday, March 31. That's followed by a three-game weekend series against the Shohei Ohtani-led Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Phillies won't have to wait too long to renew their NL East rivalry with the Atlanta Braves, as the two squads will match up at Truist Park on April 8-10. The Fightins will complete their first trip around the division before the month of April is out. They have a home series against the Miami Marlins on April 18-20, followed by a three-game set in New York against the Mets on April 21-23.
As for the Midsummer Classic, the 2025 MLB All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 15, with the four-day break running from July 14-17.
The Phillies finish the 2025 regular season at home against the Marlins on September 23-25, followed by the Minnesota Twins for a weekend matchup from September 26 to 28.
“MLB’s 2025 schedule features a terrific lineup for our fans,” Phillies senior vice president of ticket operations and projects John Weber said, per the team's press release. “The excitement begins at home on Monday, March 31, and continues with an action-packed April and May at Citizens Bank Park. More highlights include the chance to cheer on the Phillies 14 weekends at home, as well as a great promotional lineup that will be announced in the coming months.”
The full schedule is available on the Phillies' website, so you can start planning your trips to The Bank for next season.
