The Philadelphia Phillies will look to make another deep playoff run this postseason. They officially clinched a playoff spot on Sunday and the NL East early on Tuesday morning, but the bigger plans of winning the World Series remain their focus. The Phillies will need any advantage they can get when the games really start to matter.

The good news is, they may have one just sitting in front of them, just waiting to deploy.

The Phillies have a passionate fan base, and it's the main reason why their home-field advantage at Citizens Bank Park may be their biggest ally through the postseason. Having home field throughout the playoffs for any team on a postseason run is massive, but in Philadelphia, it's on a whole other level.

Phillies looking to continue dominance at Citizens Bank Park through postseason

The best team in MLB when it comes to their record at home in 2025 is none other than the Phillies at 51-24. The Phillies have created the ultimate baseball environment, one that rivals other massive stadiums in the country. It's the type of intoxicating feeling that the team thrives off when they play the biggest games of the season. The electric crowd of over 44,000 strong turns into a nightmare scenario for any visiting club.

The Phillies proved their home field magic when they went on their run in 2022 as a Wild Card team all the way to their eventual World Series appearance. In 2023 it was more of the same, causing upsets left and right, until their magic ran out. Last year, the postseason was short-lived, but they have a 13-5 playoff record at Citizens Bank Park since the beginning of the 2022 postseason.

Now this year, something feels different that the home crowd can't wait to get behind. Anticipation will only build from here, with less than two weeks in the regular season.

Seeding still has to be finalized, which the Phillies will prioritize above all else to ensure they get a first-round bye before the NLDS. Entering Wednesday, the Phillies trail the Milwaukee Brewers by just a game and a half for the No. 1 seed in the National League and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Phillies will give their fans the best chance possible to unleash their terror on any team willing to play in South Philadelphia. They're more connected than any other fan base in baseball, which will make it that much more difficult to compete against come October.
