The Phillies and Nationals will open their series Saturday night after being rained out on Friday. Here is everything you need to know about the game.

The opening of the weekend series between the Phillies and Nationals was postponed due to rain Friday night. With that same rain pouring over the Philadelphia area Saturday, their game in Washington is all set for Saturday night. Sunday the two sides will play a day-night doubleheader.

The Phils are going with the same lineup from Friday night as they are facing the same pitcher in Tanner Roark. As mentioned Friday, Maikel Franco was bumped from the cleanup spot to No. 6.

Washington will likely go with the same lineup as Friday as well and it will be added once it is posted. Bryce Harper – the $21.625 million man – will be back in the lineup after missing last weekend’s series against Philadelphia.

Starting Pitchers

Nick Pivetta gets to face the Nationals again after giving up three home runs and four runs overall in five innings in his last start. Total, he has a 5.40 ERA in ten major-league innings. Pivetta has yet to hit the sixth inning in his major-league career. This may be his last start in place of Aaron Nola as Nola made his first rehab start Wednesday night.

Tanner Roark has dominated Philadelphia this season, allowing just six hits in 13 innings. In his last start, he surrendered two unearned runs to the Phils in six innings of work. Roark has been solid overall this season, carrying a 3.46 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 7.34 K/9.
