Phillies TBOH Site Resolutions for 2016

The Philadelphia Phillies baseball club should see a number of interesting developments take place in the coming 2016 season.

As your Editor here at TBOH, I can tell you on behalf of our entire staff and everyone at Fansided that we make one promise to you, the fans, as a New Year’s 2016 resolution: more.

We resolve to provide you even more coverage than this past calendar year of 2015, when we officially provided you with 740 articles by our staff writers counting this, our final piece.

We resolve to provide you with even more coverage on social media at both Twitter, where we are already extremely active, as well as at Facebook, by far the largest, most popular social media resource on the planet.

More from That Balls Outta Here

If you haven’t followed us on either of those platforms as yet, do yourself a favor and take the time to do it today. That’s not bragging, that’s confidence and pride in the product that we provide to fans.

Pretty much every day our Twitter feed provides Phillies history in a “what happened on this date in Phillies history” fashion. We also remember some of the more famous and popular Phillies players from throughout the team’s long history who passed away on that date. Finally, we wish a Happy Birthday to the most famous and popular figures in franchise history.

As we move through the winter and head towards Spring Training in Clearwater, where our coverage will begin in February, you can expect regular Phillies coverage during January and in the pre-spring period.

In January, my “Philography” series, which began with a handful of presentations in the 2014-15 off-season and continued earlier this month with a feature on Larry Bowa, will resume with a handful of biographies highlighting some of the more interesting figures from the team’s past.

Also in January, David Mosemann will continue with our coverage looking at the battles for spots in the Phillies 2016 bullpen. Alexis Girardo will continue profiling the top college and high school prospects that the club is evaluating for the top overall pick in the upcoming MLB Amateur Draft.

Ethan Witte will undoubtedly find a handful of interesting ways to examine Phils-related issues with his typically informative statistical analysis. And both Ryan Gerstel and Tyler DiSalle will return for 2016 with their individual takes on important issues surrounding the team.

And as always, we will come out with our takes on any important news that might develop with the team on a daily basis. As all Phillies fans know, even in the off-season there is always something to talk about in America’s Pastime.

Stay with us here at TBOH in 2016, we resolve to be “more” – more than we were in 2015. We’ll be there with you when Ryan Howard and Carlos Ruiz finally say goodbye, and when J.P. Crawford finally says hello. We will continue with our mission of being one of your favorite sources of information on the team.

Share us with your friends, family, and fellow fans. And please, make productive comments on our pieces, and we will try our best to interact with you. It’s a way for you to be “more” as well. Happy New Year 2016, fellow Phillies fans!
