- Taijuan Walker (3-1) will start Sunday's finale. The right-hander comes in with a 5.51 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP in six starts. He has struggled to find consistency on the mound this season, with opposing batters hitting a beefy .310 against him. His 6.89 K/9 is his lowest since 2018 when he was pitching for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
- Lance Lynn (2-3) will counter for the Cardinals. The 37-year-old right-hander has made 11 starts with a 3.45 ERA and 1.43 WHIP. He held the Phillies to two unearned runs on one hit and four walks with six strikeouts over five innings when he faced them in St. Louis in April. This is the second season in a row in which Lynn has struggled with walks, posting a 3.61 BB/9 so far.
