The Philadelphia Phillies (28-12) took care of the Miami Marlins (10-31) again on Saturday, winning 8-3 to secure their eighth series victory of the season. The two NL East rivals will play the series finale on Sunday afternoon, with the Phillies looking for the sweep and the Marlins looking to salvage at least one game.

The bottom of the lineup came through again in the Phillies' 28th win of the year, with Bryson Stott knocking in four RBI, including a bases-clearing triple. The clutch hit came in the sixth inning with the game tied 1-1 after the Phillies had been stymied by Jesús Luzardo most of the day. Taijuan Walker put together another strong outing, allowing one run on eight hits with one walk over six innings, striking out four.

After he sat on Saturday, the Phillies will be without Kyle Schwarber again today, who is resting his back. He hopes to be back in the lineup Monday or Tuesday in New York.
