Philadelphia Phillies probable pitchers & starting lineups vs Boston Red Sox, June 12
The lineups are set as Cristopher Sánchez gets the start for the Phillies against the Red Sox.
The Philadelphia Phillies (46-20) won their first game back on US soil and their first game without catcher J.T. Realmuto on Tuesday. They took care of business with a 4-1 win over the Boston Red Sox (33-34) and will try to win another series when the two clubs square off on Wednesday night.
Kyle "June" Schwarber, who is hopefully heating up now that we're 12 days into the month, crushed two solo home runs to help back another stellar outing from Zack Wheeler. The staff ace went seven innings, holding the Red Sox to one run on three hits with four strikeouts.
Matt Strahm continued his run of incredible work out of the bullpen, striking out the side in the eighth. José Alvarado pitched a clean ninth to close it out and earn his 12th save.
