The Philadelphia Phillies (57-30) open a three-game weekend series with the NL East rival Atlanta Braves (47-38) on Friday night at Truist Park. This marks the teams' first meeting since Opening Weekend when the Braves took two of three in Philadelphia.

The Phillies are fresh off a series win in Chicago, taking two of three against the Cubs but losing the July 4 holiday matchup. The Phils are 6-4 in their last 10 games, reign as the top team in baseball and have opened up a 9.0-game division lead over the Braves.

The Braves are coming off a series loss against the Giants and are 4-6 in their last 10 games. They hold the top NL Wild Card spot. They'll defend their 27-16 home record against the Phillies' 24-16 road mark.
