After dropping a ninth-inning heartbreaker on Friday night, the Philadelphia Phillies (69-47) will look to get back in the win column against the Arizona Diamondbacks (64-53) on Saturday. The Phillies are 4-4 on the road trip and have won four of their last six games, but that doesn't take the sting out of how Game 2 of the series ended.

Phillie starter Zack Wheeler put together a quality start, even if he didn't have his best stuff, allowing two runs on seven hits through six innings, but left the game trailing 2-0. D'backs starter Ryne Nelson stymied the Phillies offense until they broke through with a Bryce Harper solo home run in the seventh inning. Johan Rojas, who’s getting regular playing time again with Austin Hays on the IL, added an RBI double in the eighth.

Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth, reliever Jeff Hoffman grooved a 97 mph fastball right down the heart of the plate for Arizona catcher Adrian Del Castillo. The rookie didn't miss, blasting a monster solo home run for the walk-off victory.

The Phillies' lead in the NL East is still a comfortable 8.0 games over the New York Mets and 8.5 over the Atlanta Braves, who both lost on Friday as well.
