The Philadelphia Phillies have released their official roster for the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves. The best-of-five series gets underway tonight at Truist Park in Atlanta. The rematch of last year's NLDS pits the 104-win, NL East champion Braves against the 90-win Phillies.
The Phillies took care of business in the Wild Card round, easily handling the overmatched and, at times, seemingly overwhelmed Miami Marlins. Now, with the start of the second round of the MLB playoffs mere hours away, manager Rob Thomson and the Phillies have made some changes and announced who they're taking into battle against the Braves.
In case you missed it, we have everything you need to know about the NLDS, including dates and times of all the games and where you can watch and listen to the Phillies as they continue their playoff run.
Philadelphia Phillies NLDS roster
Teams are limited to 26 players for the postseason. The Phillies will head into the second round of the MLB playoffs against the Braves with an even 13 position players and 13 pitchers on the roster.
If there's an injury, that player can be replaced, with permission from the Commissioner's Office, but is ineligible for the rest of the round and the following round. It's worth noting that a pitcher can only be
replaced by another pitcher, and a position player can only be replaced by another position player.
Here is the Phillies' official NLDS roster:

With Rob Thomson and his staff opting to go with one less position player than they had in the Wild Card Series, Weston Wilson is the odd man out for the NLDS.
