Opening Day is here and baseball is officially set to kick off and fans will be watching on their televisions again, at least games that count. The Philadelphia Phillies are certainly looking for a bounce back, one that will hopefully champion the crushing NLDS loss against the New York Mets just five months ago.

Baseball returning this week means thousands of fans will tune in any way they can just to see some exciting Phillies action. The Phillies are known for their media crews, and there's no surprise they'll be running back the teams that make watching and listening to Phillies games a delight all summer long.

Who are the Phillies' TV and radio announcers for 2025?

The team announced that NBC Sports Philadelphia, NBCSP+ and NBC10 will broadcast 149 of the Phillies' 162 games during the 2025 MLB regular season, with the rest being nationally televised, per John Foley of BreakingAC. The Phillies' TV broadcasts will again feature play-by-play man Tom McCarthy and color commentator John Kruk. This will be Kruk's ninth season in the booth. It was also announced that Kruk will remain with the Phillies for at least the next four years after he signed new a four-year contract, per Jake Kring-Schreifels of Philadelphia magazine.

The beloved Kruk will occasionally swap out for another former big-leaguer Ben Davis and former general manager Ruben Amaro Jr., with Phillies legend Mike Schmidt joining in for Sunday home games. The Phillies further added to their broadcast rotation, with another Phillies' legend gracing the booth in 2025, with 2008 World Series MVP Cole Hamels appearing in the booth at least once a month for a home broadcast, per OnPattison.com's Tim Kelly.

McCarthy will be entering his 18th season in a row in the booth and 20th overall with the Phillies. McCarthy has been all class as the play-by play announcer, with some iconic calls as the voice of Phillies TV each and every year.

Continuing for their 19th season as the voice of Phillies radio is the beloved duo of Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen. The duo have created some legendary memories, even during the drag of the 2010s. Gregg Murphy will fill in from time to time as well as Kevin Stocker for what will shape up to be another amusing summer of Phillies baseball on Sports Radio 94WIP.

Nothing beats the sound of the home broadcast during the regular season, a tradition that some sports don't have the luxury of holding onto. For the Phillies' TV and radio, it's the same faces and voices fans know and love. The 2025 season brings new hope, and it will shape up to be another amazing year of the best in the business covering the Phillies, with the national audience getting into the mix. Let's hope there's a World Series title on the horizon because fans know that they have the best team possible to cover the entire journey.
