The Philadelphia Phillies have become must-watch television since their World Series run in 2022. The last few seasons have only cemented the idea that this new regime is hungry for a championship. They’ve become an exciting group of players and have gained notice from around the league about how great the culture is in Philadelphia.

Red October has showcased some of the team’s greatest moments and has made their games impossible to miss if you're also just a baseball fan. Other fanbases envy what Philadelphia has when it comes to summertime at Citizens Bank Park. Now everyone can enjoy more of it with some of the games getting pushed to national television during the 2025 regular season.

FOX picks up handful of intriguing Phillies games for national broadcasts

Nationally televised prime-time games are no surprise but are always a nice touch to show the rest of the league what the Phillies truly have to offer. FOX has announced their 2025 schedule, and the Phillies are well represented in the national spotlight:

Sat., April 5: Dodgers vs. Phillies, FS1
Sat., April 26: Phillies at Cubs, FOX
Sat., May 31: Brewers vs. Phillies, FS1
Sat., June 21: Mets vs. Phillies, FOX
Sat., June 28: Phillies at Braves, FOX
Sat., July 12: Phillies at Padres, FOX
Sat., Aug. 9: Phillies at Rangers, FOX
Thu., Sept. 11: Mets at Phillies, FOX

Opening Day is only weeks away, with first pitch against the Washington Nationals set for 4:05 p.m. ET on March 27. The beginning of the baseball season will have the Phillies taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers for an early National League slugfest a week into the season. The NL is stacked, and a bunch of marquee series will have thousands of eyeballs on them.

The series against the Dodgers will be a three-game series that starts on Friday, April 4 through Sunday, with Saturday being on FOX. The matchup could feature the two greatest pitching staffs in the National League while stars like Bryce Harper and Shohei Ohtani slug it out. In 2024, the Phillies won the season series convincingly, winning five of six games.

The series against the New York Mets will not be the first matchup of 2025, but will surely remain intriguing when it starts on Friday, June 20. The Phillies topped them seven games to six during 2024, but the Mets carried the momentum into the playoffs, where the Phillies came crashing down in the NLDS. This weekend series, with Saturday as the FOX broadcast, will be Juan Soto’s first visit to Philadelphia as a member of the Mets, so contention will be more than just the play on the field. The Phillies will get another crack at the Mets in their final FOX broadcast on Thursday, Sept. 11.

A week after the first Phillies-Mets FOX broadcast, the Phillies take on the Atlanta Braves on a Saturday FOX showcase in the middle of a three-game weekend series set to start on Friday, June 27. The Phillies lost the series during the regular season six games to seven, but toppled them for the division crown. Starter Spencer Strider will find his way back into the rotation after missing most of last year with an elbow injury. It’ll be a chance for the Phillies to prove the doubters wrong that they can still beat a healthy Braves team.

The Phillies' games on FS1 will still be televised by their regular TV partner, NBC Sports Philadelphia, along with other outlets like MLB.TV for out of market. The FOX broadcasts will be nationally televised.

Nothing is like the Phillies' hometown broadcast of Tom McCarthy, Ruben Amaro, Ben Davis and John Kruk. Those guys are always the gold standard when it comes to calling Phillies games. The national broadcasts may not be the usual way to watch the Phillies win, but allowing other fans get a taste of what Phillies baseball is like may not be the worst thing throughout the season.
