Phillies return to rebound from a devastating loss that took out one of their young stars
A blown four-run lead in Los Angeles set the Phillies back to third in the National League East and has Rhys Hoskins out of the lineup for the first time in weeks. Thankfully for Philadelphia ace Jake Arrieta gets the ball to do what he was signed for; to right the ship.
Hoskins is out tonight with a cut lip after taking a foul ball to the face, which may benefit him in the longrun. The 25-year-old outfielder has been in a month-long slump hitting just .150 since the calendar turned.
