Most Valuable Position Player

Odubel Herrera

Odubel, or should I say Odouble, went off this week. He recorded seven doubles during this stretch and was the primary catalyst offensively for the Phils. You never know what you’ll get with the fiery center fielder, but it seems fair to say that the Phillies goes as Herrera goes.

Most Valuable Pitcher

Aaron Nola

Nola went 1-1 on the week scattering four runs over thirteen innings of work. Nola looked good coming off the DL, and his 12 strikeouts show that his arm is live once again.
