The Phillies and the rest of MLB revealed the special jerseys they will wear for different summer holidays as well as this year’s All-Star jersey.

The Phillies and Major League Baseball have slowly but surely ramped up special uniforms for special holidays. It started off with red, white, and blue caps for patriotic holidays like Memorial and Independence Days and pink accessories for Mother’s Day.

Now the Phils have special uniforms to wear for those holidays as well as Father’s Day. In addition, the jerseys will be worn during several games this year rather than just one.

2017’s special jerseys as well this year’s All-Star Game jerseys were revealed on Tuesday. There are six new jerseys, including home and road uniforms for Memorial and Independence Days.

The first jersey is Mother’s Day-themed to be worn May 13 and 14 against the Nationals in Washington. The top is gray with pink lettering, and the cap is gray as well with a pink P and pink brim.

For Memorial Day, the Phils will honor the military with a camo-themed uniform between May 27 and 29. The home jersey, which they will wear against the Reds the 27th and 28th, is the cream color of the normal day alternates with camo lettering and dark green piping on the sleeves and collar. The road jersey is almost the same, expect with a gray base and no piping on the collar. They will wear the gray uniform May 29 against the Marlins in Miami.

For both games, they will wear a green cap with a black P and a camo brim with stars along the side.

Philadelphia’s Father’s Day jersey is similar to last years with a cream base and light blue lettering. However, this year’s cap is also light blue with a gray brim and white P, while last years was all gray with a blue P. They will wear this jersey June 17 and 18 against the Diamondbacks.

My personal favorite jersey is the home Independence Day uniform. The top has the normal red pinstripes, but the lettering is a red-and-white digital camo with blue lining. The road jersey has the same lettering style, but with a gray base. The cap is red with a blue brim and the P is patterned after the American flag. Instead of being embroidered, the P will be made of “LiquidChrome”, so the P will be more silver than white. The road uniform will be worn July 1 and 2 against the Mets and the home one will be worn July 3 and 4 against the Pirates.

Finally, the All-Star jersey is orange and black to resemble the jersey of the host Miami Marlins.

The cap is all black besides an orange P with white lining and the All-Star Game patch on the side. The bottom of the bill has a floral print. Whoever represents Philadephia in the All-Star Game will wear the normal home jersey – with a patch indicating their number of appearances on the sleeve – but the hat has a red “heather” pattern and the P is gold with stars around the vent holes on top.
