The Philadelphia Phillies and their fans have a lot to look forward to with the on-the-field product and the high expectations that come with it. According to Baseball Reference, the Phillies have an 87.9 percent chance of making the playoffs and an 11.6 percent chance of winning the World Series.

But there are some other major changes that will surely pique fans' interest: the new food being introduced for the 2024 season at Citizens Bank Park.

CBP, as it’s known to the fans, is already recognized for its stellar food choices, like the Burt Ends Cheesesteak from Bull’s BBQ, the famous Crab Fries from Chickie’s and Pete’s, and Manco & Manco’s pizza. But there is even more coming the fans' way this year, and it sounds like it will take the CBP menu to the next level.

With Opening Day right around the corner, let’s jump into the newest menu item additions for the 2024 season.

The Bratwurst Sandwich

The Bratwurst Sandwich is exactly what it sounds like. A grilled brat topped with beer-braised onions and spicy mustard, all on a delicious Liscio Bakery roll. It’ll come with a side of house ranch chips.

Where to find it: Pass and Stow, next to the Third Base Plaza

Schwarburger 2.0

CBP is bringing the Schwarburger back full-time this season after debuting it in the playoffs in 2023. The fresh beef burger comes with American cheese, pepper bacon, a fried egg, crispy onions and the special Schwarburger sauce. Clearly, Schwarber’s taste in burgers is as good as his sweet home run swing.

Where to find it: Coca-Cola Corner in left field behind section 142.

Wing Flavor of the Month and Ballpark Bomb Fries

PJ’s is introducing different flavors of the month at CBP, with rotating flavors and sauces throughout the season. They will also offer new fries that will exclusively be found at Citizens Bank Park.

Big Mozz

Larger than normal, fresh, and fried mozzarella sticks with real ingredients. There are not too many ways you can mess this staple up, and they surely look like a must-try this year.

Where to find it: Coca-Cola Corner, Pass & Stow, and 1883 Burger Co behind sections 108 and 207.

Buffalo Chik’n Hoagie

This is a delectable plant-based menu item at CBP from Green & Grains, a local restaurant chain. Packed with Buffalo flavor and drizzled with sauce, this menu item ensures that there is something on the menu for everyone.

Loaded Funnel Cake Fry Sundae

We can’t forget about dessert on the menu. This new item is fresh funnel cake fries topped with a homemade strawberry compote, vanilla soft serve ice cream, and whipped cream. Talk about a perfect summer ballpark dessert — this just nailed it on the head.

PrimoHoagies
