The Phillies have lost two one score games over the weekend, but will count on Aaron Nola to get the job done and get in the win column on Sunday.
Nola has been pitching to expectation over the last two months and will face a lackluster Guardians offense in hopes of avoiding a sweep. How should we bet this matchup? First, let's look at the odds:

The Guardians will start Xzavion Curry on Sunday in a bullpen game for the AL Central contenders. Curry will likely pitch an inning or two before passing the ball down the line to the rest of the unit that has the lowest ERA of any bullpen in baseball.
However, I'm going to give a nod to the Phillies, who will start Nola on Sunday, who hopes to stay in prime form. He has pitched to a 3.36 ERA since the beginning of June and will face a Guardians lineup that is bottom 10 in OPS this season.
While the Guardians have an elite bullpen, more variables are in play with different pitchers coming in. I'll trust Nola to lead the Phillies to a win and avoid the sweep.
