After making the postseason as a Wild Card team the past two years, the 2024 NL East champion Philadelphia Phillies are looking to go on another long run through the MLB playoffs this season. As the No. 2 seed in the National League, their journey begins with the NLDS on Oct. 5 after earning a bye past the Wild Card round.

The Phillies are one of the favorites to contend for the World Series title this year after getting off to a 62-34 record in the first half. They played .500 baseball the rest of the way, but with a star-studded roster, they'll be considered the favorite in the NLDS.

The Phillies will host the No. 6 seed New York Mets in the NLDS beginning on Saturday, Oct. 5. With home-field advantage, the Phillies will host Games 1 and 2 at Citizens Bank Park.
