- Mitchell Parker (6-6) will take the ball for the Nationals today. The 24-year-old rookie left-hander has a 3.83 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in 21 starts. He has thrown two quality starts in a row to begin August, holding the Los Angeles Angels to two runs on eight hits with five strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings last time out.
