The Philadelphia Phillies (81-56) head out on the road for six games, with their first stop coming north of the border with a two-game set against the Toronto Blue Jays (67-72) at Rogers Centre.

The NL East-leading Phillies come into the series in Toronto with a 7.0 game lead over the Atlanta Braves after taking three of four at home against their division rivals. With a series win against the Houston Astros on the just concluded home stand, things are looking up in Philly-land. They've won three straight series and 12 of their last 18 games since Aug. 14.

The Blue Jays come into the series 6-4 in their last 10 games after dropping two of three to the Minnesota Twins on the weekend. They're currently last in the AL East, 13.5 games back, and 8.0 games out of the AL Wild Card, and are in the process of seeing what they have in some of their talented younger players for next season.
