Suárez hasn't gone more than 5 1/3 in any of his outings and sports a 4.19 ERA, a 1.55 WHIP and opposing batters are hitting .304 against him.
- Aaron Civale (6-8) will start for the Brewers. The 29-year-old right-hander has a 4.57 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 28 starts this season and hasn't faced the Phillies. He has a 4.35 ERA but a 0.97 WHIP in two September starts, striking out nine and walking one in 10 1/3 innings.
