Philadelphia Phillies probable pitchers & starting lineups vs Dodgers, July 11
The lineups are set as Aaron Nola and the Phillies look to sweep the Dodgers out of town.
The Philadelphia Phillies (60-32) and Los Angeles Dodgers (55-38) close out their series on Thursday at Citizens Bank Park after the Phillies took the first two games and look for the sweep tonight.
After putting up 10 runs in Tuesday's series opener, the bats couldn't muster as much on Wednesday but scored just enough to fend off the Dodgers in a 4-3 win. Phillies starter Cristopher Sánchez looked strong in a bounce-back game, holding the Dodgers to two runs on five hits with five strikeouts over six innings.
The highlight of the night, however, might have been All-Star Matt Strahm's timely strikeout of Shohei Ohtani in the seventh. With runners on the corners and one out, the lefty came in and got the star DH to whiff on a nasty third-strike slider. José Alvarado and fellow All-Star Jeff Hoffman cleaned up the eighth and ninth to secure the victory.

- Anthony Banda (1-1) will throw as an opener for the Dodgers today. The 30-year-old left-hander has a 2.05 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 20 appearances out of the bullpen this season. He has logged an 8.18 K/9 in his first season in Los Angeles but has also posted a 4.91 BB/9.
