After a sudden ninth-inning explosion to take Game 2 of the series 8-4, the Philadelphia Phillies (38-15) will try to secure the series win on Sunday over the Colorado Rockies (17-34).

Going into the ninth trailing 3-2, the Phillies put six runs on the board. The rally was started by the bottom of the order, with a Brandon Marsh walk, Edmundo Sosa triple and Garrett Stubbs single to tie and then take the lead. A day after being ejected in the first inning, Bryce Harper made a difference, putting the game out of reach with an opposite-field three-run home run.

With the win and another Atlanta Braves loss to the sub-.500 Pittsburgh Pirates, the Phillies are up 7.0 games in the NL East heading into Sunday's action.

The last time he took the mound against Colorado, Suárez threw a seven-hit, eight-strikeout complete game shutout.
