Philadelphia Phillies probable pitchers & starting lineups vs. Arizona Diamondbacks, August 11
The lineups are set as the Phillies try to salvage a series split with the Diamondbacks at Chase Field.
The Philadelphia Phillies (69-48) will look to salvage a series split against the Arizona Diamondbacks (65-53) on Sunday. After winning the series opener on Thursday, the Phillies have dropped two straight and can only hope to finish their 10-game road trip at .500 with a win today.
Last night's 11-1 loss got out of hand in a hurry when Phillies reliever Yunior Marte imploded in the seventh inning. With the Phillies trailing 4-1, he gave up seven runs on six hits, including a pair of home runs, while recording just two outs. He now has a 15.26 ERA since rejoining the team on July 21.
A lone bright spot for the Phillies was Max Lazar's successful MLB debut. The 25-year-old right-hander got the Phillies out of the seventh before pitching a clean eighth inning, logging his first MLB strikeout in the process. He was added to the roster when Kolby Allard was optioned to Triple-A and might get a chance to stick around.

When he faced the D'backs in June, Sánchez went seven shutout innings, allowing three hits with four strikeouts.
