It's that time of year again. Time to make your voice heard as a baseball fan and, more importantly, a Philadelphia Phillies fan, for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game.

Phillies players are doing their part by running amuck through the league through the first stretch of the season to a 48-24 record. It's a team game, but the NL-best Phillies have had some incredible individual performances this season to help them get to where they are.

Now, with voting for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game open, it's on the fans to decide how many Phillies will be heading to Arlington, Texas for this year's Midsummer Classic on July 16.

2024 MLB All-Star Voting Schedule

MLB All-Star voting happens in two phases. Phase 1, which started on June 5 and runs through June 27, will determine the top two vote-getters at each position except outfield. There will be six outfielders who move on to the second phase of All-Star Game voting.

The National League player with the most votes during Phase 1, as well as the top vote-getter in the AL, will automatically earn starting spots on their respective All-Star teams.

In Phase 2, the finalists at each position go head-to-head in voting from June 30 to July 3. Note that fans don't get to vote for pitchers. Every All-Star pitcher and All-Star reserve player is chosen by a combination of player ballots and the Commissioner’s Office.

2024 MLB All-Star Voting Rules

Voting for the MLB All-Star Game is easy, but you can check out the MLB All-Star Voting Guide if you want. During Phase 1, each email address you register to vote with can vote up to five times a day. You can vote only once per email address during Phase 2.

There are also specific rules for players who are traded during the voting period, although that doesn't happen that often. If a player switches leagues due to a trade, they keep their vote total in their new league.

How to Vote for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game

Long gone are the old days of punching out holes on paper ballots at the ballpark. Now, like everything else, you just need to get on the online All-Star ballot, make your picks and then register your email to submit your votes.

It's time for Phillies fans to get to work to make sure as many Phillies players end up in this year's All-Star Game as possible.
