Jhoan Duran's entrance was a big deal when he first joined the Philadelphia Phillies. NBC Sports Philadelphia broadcast the full thematic experience for fans watching at home during the closer's first game in a Phillies uniform. However, the problem was that after that, only fans lucky enough to be in the ball park have seen another Duran entrance.

The broadcast, predictably began going back to its regular commercial break while the big right-hander made his way to the mound. The good news is that the Phillies' broadcaster is addressing the issue after outrage from fans (subscription required), per Rob Tornoe of The Philadelphia Inquirer, following Tuesday night's game against the Seattle Mariners.

NBC Sports Philadelphia Phillies' broadcast will air Jhoan Duran's entrance

According to Tornoe, NBC Sports Philadelphia is planning to show Duran's full entrance (subscription required), beginning immediately. This change of heart by NBC will only affect evening home games.

"We’ve heard from passionate Phillies fans across the region," the network said in a statement, per Tornoe. And apparently, fans will now "get to experience this phenomenon live and in its entirety."

When the Phillies acquired Duran at the trade deadline, he came with a 100 mph fastball and the coolest entrance of any closer in Major League Baseball. Fire- and tarantula-themed visuals play as a backdrop to a remix of “El Incomprendido” by Farruko and “Hot” by Pitbull and Daddy Yankee. It's an incredible scene that takes over Citizens Bank Park whenever Duran is summoned from the bullpen, and now that the trumpets in New York have been played out, it's second-to-none.

When will Phillies fans get their first chance to see Duran's entrance again?

Phillies fans at home will have a chance to see Duran's entrance beginning Friday night when the Phils open a three game set with the Washington Nationals. They also play an evening game on Saturday, with a 6:05 p.m. ET scheduled first pitch.

Duran has a 1.80 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 55 innings on the season. He has allowed just two hits and has yet to allow a run in his six appearances with the Phillies. He has even already set pitch velocity records for the Phillies.

Three of Duran's six saves since coming to the Phillies have come at The Bank. His last one might have been the most impressive yet. Facing MLB home run leader Cal Raleigh, the fireballer powered three 102 mph heaters right past the "Big Dumper" to record the save and the Phillies' 6-4 win.
