The Philadelphia Phillies preseason is underway with spring training games taking place. While that's exciting, it's also exciting for their Double-A affiliate, the Reading Fightin Phils with minor league baseball around the corner. That means some fun promotions are heading the fans' way as with the Fightin Phils playing as the Reading Iced Coffees for a game this summer.

For their 23rd annual "Morning Game," the Fightin Phils will take the field on Aug. 25 at 11:00 a.m. ET. That day it will be the Reading Iced Coffees against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets.

Minor league baseball is famous for having fun promos during their season with new twists on team names and uniforms. This installment in August has sparked quite the excitement in Reading since the announcement.

The logo features an iced coffee holding a straw over its head. The hat will be green while sporting that logo. The jersey will be black and have Iced Coffees across the front, while the sleeves will be green to match the hat.

Tickets for the game are already available, including the remarkable-looking merchandise. The merchandise can be purchased online or at the official Reading Fightin Phils Store at FirstEnergy Stadium.

It's encouraged to grab the merchandise while you can, as the previous promos both had quick sellouts. Fans will also get an opportunity at the gate, as the first 2,000 adults will receive a Reading Iced Coffees hat, courtesy of Reading Hospital.

The game will also feature its usual morning-game breakfast tradition served that day. The club was the Cream Chipped Beef in 2024 and The Flapjacks in 2025. So there is expected to be iced coffee served that day in Reading.

There will also be a special “Brunch Time” Beer Tasting Festival featuring an assortment of different beverage options. Fans can also enjoy a walk around the warning track at 10 a.m. to further the experience on a nice warm summer morning.

Baseball fans are ready for baseball to start with the Phillies' season beginning on Mar. 26. The Reading Fightin Phils won't be far behind when they kick off their season on April 7 against the Hartford Yard Goats, Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

Not only is baseball close, but so are the outstanding promos and new merchandise that all the Phillies' affiliates will be sporting in 2026, including the Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs' loaded promotional schedule.

While not necessarily a promo, the IronPigs will also be sporting a patch this season to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the nation's existence. It's another reason to look forward to this season of Phillies baseball along with all the affiliates in 2026.
