There’s no doubt that Philadelphia is a sports city. Whether their teams are riding high in the national spotlight, the bottom dwellers of their respective leagues, or having their seasons end heartbreakingly, the fans are as passionate as they come. Some non-Philly sports fans may not like them, but they don’t care.

The Philadelphia Eagles are on the brightest stage in the National Football League. The team is set to go up against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. The main focus in the City of Brotherly Love is the Eagles, and understandably so.

Even with baseball season looming, it’s tough to take the focus away from the team about to play in the Super Bowl. A recent collab with Topps and an Eagles legend may put the thoughts of the Philadelphia Phillies into the minds of their fans.

Jason Kelce now has his own Phillies autograph baseball card

Former Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce now has his own Phillies autographed baseball card in 2025 Topps Series One. Kelce is a man of the people and an icon in Philadelphia. His love for the city and its fans goes above and beyond, to the point that he has struggled with the fact that he has to root for his brother, Travis, on the Chiefs against his beloved Eagles in the Super Bowl.

Kelce, born and raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, developed a strong connection with the Phillies throughout his career with the Eagles. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft and spent 13 years with the team. He was selected to seven Pro Bowls, named First-Team All-Pro six times and, of course, was on the Eagles’ 2017-18 Super Bowl-winning team.

Whether it was making a trip to Clearwater to talk to the team, hyping up the fans in videos shown on PhanaVision or chugging beers with his brother during playoff games at Citizens Bank Park, Kelce has roots planted in the Phillies organization. His passion for Philly sports will never waver considering his wife, Kylie, is a diehard fan.

Kelce may not be playing in this year’s Super Bowl with the Eagles since he announced his retirement after the 2023 season, but he sure will be heavily invested in his former team. Sorry, Travis. Now, the Eagles legend has his very own official autographed Phillies baseball card just in time for the new Major League Baseball season.
