The 7-10 Philadelphia Phillies took Game 1 of a four-game set from the 10-6 Colorado Rockies on Monday, and have three games left to play.
It’s been a rough month for the Phillies, who haven’t won a series since their Opening Weekend against the Oakland A’s. Like many teams around the league, they’ve struggled to score runs; the re-deadened baseball isn’t helping their preexisting inconsistency.
After winning 8-2 in front of the Philly faithful on Monday night, the Phillies host the Rockies for two more 6:45 PM ET games and a matinee finale at 1:05 PM ET on Thursday at Citizens Bank Park.
Here’s the weather outlook for the rest of the series…
Philadelphia forecast for April 26
Temperatures will be hovering in the mid-60s at first pitch, and the humidity percentage will be about the same as the temperature itself.
This game could be delayed or even postponed, as there’s a high likelihood of rain beginning in the early evening and continuing on and off throughout the night.
Philadelphia forecast for April 27
The outlook is better for the penultimate game of the series. Though temperatures will be colder on Wednesday, it’s going to be partly sunny all day long with zero percent chance of precipitation.
Temperatures will drop from the low 50s to the low 40s between 6 PM and midnight, so bundle up.
Philadelphia forecast for April 28
Thursday looks like a beautiful day for a ballgame, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures rising to the mid-50s by early afternoon.
