Bryce Harper and Bryson Stott are roommate goals at Phillies Spring Training

The greatest roommate duo in Philadelphia Phillies Spring Training history are back, kind of.

After all, Bryce Harper isn’t actually allowed to go to Spring Training until the MLB lockout is over, as clubs cannot have any contact with their players during this work stoppage.

Nevertheless, he and Bryson Stott are roommates in Clearwater, Florida once again. And for the second spring in a row, they are giving us #RoomieGoals and some serious FOMO.

According to Harper’s wife Kay’s Instagram Stories, they are having homemade pizza night with Stott and his girlfriend.

Harper and Stott go way back, as their families are friends in their hometown of Las Vegas. According to Harper, Stott is always at his house to watch Ohio State football games. During the holiday season, they checked out a local Christmas village together.

While Harper is on the outside looking in, his young protege is impressing at the Phillies’ minor-league minicamp, where farm director Preston Mattingly sang his praises this week. Having the reigning NL MVP as your friend, mentor, and roommate,

Not to be a downer, but two unsavory themes undercut this sweet photo. First, the aforementioned lockout, which keeps Harper and his teammates from beginning their training. Second, Stott is the rare (if not only) prospect living this well at Spring Training, as minor leaguers do not get paid during this period of the year.

A lot needs to change in the MLB world, but in the meantime, we need to know: what pizza toppings?
