Cedric Mullins, Baltimore Orioles

In late November, it was reported that the Baltimore Orioles were ready to listen to offers for All-Star CF Cedric Mullins.

Mullins gave up switch-hitting in 2021, and as a result, had a breakout season. Over 159 games, he hit .291/.360/.518 with a .878 OPS, 37 doubles, five triples, and 30 home runs. He went 30-for-38 in stolen base attempts, too.

It was a season of firsts for the outfielder and his team. Mullins became the first 30-30 player in Orioles history, made his first All-Star squad, and won his first Silver Slugger Award.

Should the Phillies try to trade for Mullins? Absolutely.

Do they have enough in their blighted farm system to make it happen without giving up prospects they view as key to their future, like Mick Abel or Andrew Painter? Definitely not.
