Phillies rumors surrounding Bryce Harper are getting hot.

More Phillies rumors regarding the future of Bryce Harper have begun to swirl on social media, and a lot of pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together.

Several pictures and tweets from various accounts are suggesting Harper could sign soon.

A lot of the hoopla began when MLB The Show tweeted on Monday that fans should keep an eye on their account on Tuesday. Harper is the cover athlete for the game this year, but many took the tweet as just a promotion for the first game trailer and not Harper’s formal announcement.

These are just the first of several things that are suggesting Harper could sign with the Phillies on Tuesday.

A tweet caught by Chris Jones from Phillies clubhouse manager Phil Sheridan appears to be a tweet supposed to be a DM regarding Harper.

Jake could be Jake Arrieta, who has the same agent (Scott Boras) as Harper.

Vegas Gambling Stream, while not a verified account, is a popular gambling feed that has previously broken stories. They tweeted that all Harper prop bets have been removed from Vegas and that Harper will sign with the Phillies.

Additionally, OddsShark updated their World Series odds Monday night and gave the Phillies the fourth-best odds to win it all in 2019.

Next, a fan who claims to work for ESPN posted a graphic on a Phillies fan group showing a large “Harper to Philadelphia” graphic on the set of SportsCenter. That fan’s LinkedIn and Facebook pages appear to confirm he works for ESPN.

A lot of pieces are cryptically coming together right now, but nothing is official just yet. I’d keep an eye on the MLB The Show account. For all we know the game is launching a promo for the game and Harper will wear neutral colors such as black or grey.

Next. Phillies still favorites for Harper. dark

Still, it feels like something is happening and things are finally coming to a head with this dragging offseason.
