Can the Phillies bounce back after a long night against Los Angeles?

Less than 12 hours after Trevor Plouffe walked off on Los Angeles Wednesday morning the Phillies and Dodgers return to Citizens Bank Park for a 12:35 p.m. start.

A nationally televised game, the Phillies send Jake Arrieta to the mound against one of the Dodgers better young pitchers Walker Buehler.

Chase Utley will be in the lineup today for Los Angeles in his final regular season game in Citizens Bank Park, giving fans one last chance to thank him this season.

Arrieta, and really the entire team, had a rough outing coming out of the All-Star break against San Diego. While they won the game 11-5, a four-run first inning by San Diego was a painful reminder that the defense behind Arrieta is rarely sharp.

After taking four losses in five June starts, Arrieta is 2-0 in four starts during the month of July. Earlier this season against the Dodgers Arrieta went seven shutout innings for a win.
