Against the Milwaukee Brewers, Hoskins has a .286/.250/.714 slash line. In seven at-bats, he has one home run and five RBIs with no strikeouts.
After game one of the three-game series, Hoskins is batting .239 with eight home runs and 36 runs batted in. He has 37 walks and 65 strikeouts in 241 plate appearances. His season is obviously a step down compared to last year’s ridiculous debut.
Hoskins struggled again in the series opener, leaving four runners on base while going 0-for-4. His error in left field was one of the four the team made.
Hopefully, Hoskins will be able to find more success in the last two games of the series.
