Sending Brian Schlitter out to Chicago the Phillies received Scott Eyre, a 36-year-old lefty with postseason experience. Eyre was fantastic in the regular and postseason with a 1.88 ERA in 19 games in the regular season and only two runners allowed in four postseason appearances.
