Jake Arrieta returns home as the Phillies travel to Chicago to face the Cubs

Phillies fans have been starved of runs during the entire west coast road trip, and had more injuries during the road trip than runs scored in San Francisco.

Now the team hits the last stretch of their road trip with a visit to Wrigley Field to face the Cubs.

Chicago is 8-2 in their last 10 games including a four-game sweep of the New York Mets heading into the series with Philadelphia.

After the three-game series in Chicago the Phillies won’t see the Cubs until Aug. 31 when they host them for a three-game series.
