Phillies welcome Blue Jays for interleague play at CBP

On Friday, the Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto Blue Jays will face each other for the first of three games.

The Phillies look to continue their six-game homestand Friday night as they welcome the Toronto Blue Jays to Citizens Bank Park. The two teams will be playing interleague baseball for three games before the Phillies head to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers.

Entering the series opener Friday night, Odubel Herrera continues to lead the Philadelphia Phillies in batting average this season with a .343 average. Surprisingly, Carlos Santana leads the team in home runs with a total of eight for the year.
