Philadelphia Phillies vs New York Mets: How to watch online, TV info, and more
The Phillies will have a sitting duck manager tonight against the Mets
Hours before starting a series against the Mets the Phillies announced manager Pete Mackanin would not return next season. Instead, he’ll move to the front office as a special advisor to general manager Matt Kletnak.
Mackanin will faintly be remembered by fans, but he kept the ship (somewhat) afloat in a rebuild. Tonight he begins the final series in what will likely be the last manager job of his career.
