Here is a quick recap of what each of the Phillies minor league squads and some of their top prospects did last night as they work their way up to the big leagues.

David Buchanan allowed six runs (five earned) in five innings as he took the loss for Lehigh Valley. The one time Phillie walked two, struck out two, and also gave up a three run home run with two outs late in his outing.

The bullpen produced three one hit innings, courtesy of Michael Mariot, Luis Garcia, and Bobby Lafromboise.

Top prospect J.P. Crawford continued to struggle at the plate as he went 1-4 with a strikeout. His batting average has dropped to .200 since joining the Triple-A club earlier this month.

Nick Williams managed a double while striking out twice and scoring a run. Andrew Knapp and Cam Perkins each had a hit that drove in a run apiece.

The Iron Pigs will look to avoid being swept by Pawtucket Thursday in a battle of top pitching prospects Jake Thompson (2-4) and Henry Owens (3-2). Owens, who spent time in the big leagues this year, was the Red Sox top pitching prospect and at one point the #20th best prospect in baseball.
