Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown hardly had an All-Star season in 2014, but his actions Friday at Citizens Bank Park suggest he is an All-Star humanitarian.
Brown helped the Phillies give 6,000 pounds of food to needy families as a part of National Hunger Awareness Month.

Born in Florida and growing up in Georgia, Brown said Friday’s event was something he was a often a part of down south and he hopes it will become a tradition in Philadelphia.

The Phillies are faced with a tough decision whether or not too keep Domonic Brown around for another season given his 2014 was so unlike his 2013 All-Star campaign.
Brown was drafted by the Phillies in 2006 in the 20th round of the amateur draft.
