If Roy Halladay‘s Twitter presence is any indication of how his retirement is going, he’s either bored or thoroughly enjoying it.
While neither of Halladay’s former teams, the Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto Blue Jays, made moves before Thursday’s trade deadline he claims his wife may have been trying to involve him in some sort of deal.
My wife was on the phone all day yesterday. When she hung up I ask what was going on. Said she was try'n to trade me, very little interest.

Halladay’s avatar is still of him in a Phillies uniform despite retiring as a Blue Jay. He’ll be one of several Phillies greats on hand for the August 8-11 alumni weekend at Citizen’s Bank Park. Friday August 8th fans will get a Halladay bobblehead.
