The Phillies will be off today. They’ll be traveling to Chicago to start a three-game series with the Cubs on Friday.

Charlie Manuel was notoriously stubborn in the way he utilized his relievers. There was some hope that Ryne Sandberg would be an improvement in that regard. However, Sandberg’s bullpen management in Tuesday’s loss to the Rangers was very reminiscent of Manuel’s days at the helm.
