After days of not really paying attention to anyone but Alex Rodriguez in the ongoing Biogenesis scandal, MLB has dropped the axe, and there is at least one Phillie on it.
His name is Antonio Bastardo, and you probably know him from that super-aggressive Phillies bullpen we’ve been experiencing all season.  Seeing as the slovenly, half-assed Phillies have engaged in just about every other type of issue this season, it did seem fairly suspicious that they had not yet been attached to this national spectacle.
But fortunately, here we are, watching Bastardo get suspended for 50 games (he can come back for the last two, I guess!) among the likes of Jordany Valdespin, Francisco Cervelli, and Jhonny Peralta (Congratulations, Jose Iglesias!).
This has of course led to a series of further sarcastic questions.
But who will pitch out of the bullpen for the #Phillies in the playoffs? #Bastardo #seasonofpanic

Are we all snarking out about the same Bastardo? He of the 2nd lowest ERA in the pen, lowest inherited runners scored percentage? 26.3% K/PA
