5. Bryson Stott will make the Opening Day roster

Well, this one came true and was great at first. Unfortunately, the Phillies didn’t handle Stott well and he’s already back in Triple-A. The good news for him is that with how poorly the Phillies are playing, he’s much safer in the minors, and he’s hitting really well there. It might be best to keep him in Triple-A for the year, until Didi Gregorius’ contract is up and maybe the Phillies get a new manager who can work with rookies.

6. Bryson Stott will win NL Rookie of the Year

See the above.

7. Several Phillies will hit 35+ home runs

The Phillies have Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and Nick Castellanos, so it’s fair to assume at least two guys will reach the 35-homer mark this year. The team might not having a winning record, though.
