2. Ranger Suárez will be a Cy Young contender

So far, not so good. Suárez has made five starts so far, and allowed 3+ earned runs in three of them, and at least four hits in all.

3. Alec Bohm will bounce back

Well, well, well. In a pleasant turn of events, Alec Bohm has been one of the Phillies’ best hitters. He’s also endeared himself to Phillies fans, by swearing at them and then owning it.

4. The Phillies will pick up Joe Girardi’s option for 2023

This one seems unlikely, as the team is struggling to play .500 baseball. His managerial decisions have already been questioned countless times, and the results speak for themselves.
