A cross-state battle continues Friday night between the Phillies and Pirates

Friday night is the second of a four-game weekend series between the Phillies and Pirates in Philadelphia. Pittsburgh took five of seven games last year, including three straight to end the season series.

Philadelphia is coming off a dominant performance by Jake Arrieta, who pitched seven one-hit innings with 10 strikeouts against Pittsburgh. Ben Lively now takes the bump in one of the most important starts of his career with Jerad Eickhoff soon to return from the disabled list.
