Scott Radinsky – Angels bullpen coach; Former Indians pitching coach

Few executives know the Angels organization as well as Phillies general manager Matt Klentak. Angels bullpen coach Scott Radinsky has led an extremely interesting life, going from punk rock star to major league pitcher.

Radinsky sang for “Scared Straight,” later known as “Ten Foot Pole” on world tours opening for Green Day. He left the band to continue his baseball career, which culminated in him being one of the most accomplished Jewish pitchers in baseball history.

And if his life couldn’t get any cooler, Radinsky owns the museum and skate park that houses the Skateboarding Hall of Fame.

Pitching solely as a reliever for the White Sox, Dodgers, Indians, and Cardinals over 11 years Radinsky is second among Jewish pitchers in games pitched and 11th in career wins.

With his baseball and music playing days behind him Radinsky worked his way up through the Indians organization to be their pitching coach for one year. Following three seasons in the Dodgers organization, Radinsky is now the Angels bullpen coach.
