CLEARWATER, FL – FEBRUARY 25: Outfielder Raul Ibanez /

Raul Ibanez

Former Phillies outfielder Raul Ibanez joined ESPN in February of 2016, replacing the embattled Curt Schilling as a studio and in-game analyst. Ibanez

Ibanez, who played three seasons in Philadelphia, has been a leading candidate for manager and hitting coach jobs across baseball since retiring. He nearly received the Tampa Bay manager position after Joe Maddon left for the Cubs, but lost out to Kevin Cash.

In just three seasons Ibanez developed into a fan favorite replacing Pat Burrell following the 2008 championship season. He collected 100 doubles and 70 home runs, and represented the team at the 2009 All-Star game.

I’d place Raul towards the bottom of the list considering he’s likely to get a coaching opportunity, but don’t be surprised if his name is heard again.
