It is perfectly acceptable for any self respecting Phillies fan to react irrationally after seeing Roy Halladay’s pitching line against the Twins.  He managed to throw 2 2/3 innings while allowing seven hits (two of them homers), five runs and even managed to walk a batter.  It is obviously freak out time.  I, for one, have already assumed that after all the years and all the innings, Halladay’s arm is ready to fall off.  His season ending performance again the Cardinals was a harbinger of Roy’s precipitous decline.  Come on, he gave up a triple to Rafael Furcal.  Rafael Furcal?!  Let the inaccurate reporting of Doc’s injuries begin!

It is spring training everyone.  It is not even late spring training.  Everyone breathe into a bag and pump the breaks.  Let’s wait for the end of spring to assume that the best pitcher in baseball is falling apart.
