The Iron Pigs came back with a big win after being swept over the weekend by Louisville in a three game series.

Hosting the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, the Iron Pigs came back with six runs combined in the fourth and fifth innings to nail down the victory after being in a 4-0 hole.

Nick Williams and Cody Asche had back-to-back solo home runs off of former Phillie Andy Oliver, which ended up being the only hits of the game for either player.

Backup catcher Logan Moore had a big game going 4-4 with a double and an RBI single.

Darnell Sweeney went 1-4 with an RBI single to center in the bottom of the fourth inning and followed that up with a stolen base.

Top prospect J.P. Crawford’s struggles continued as we went 0-4 with two strikeouts. The shortstop is hitting .167 since being sent to Lehigh Valley.

Former Phillies starter David Buchanan earned his third win of the year after pitching seven innings, allowing four runs on six hits, two walks, and a pair of strikeouts. He threw 80 pitches, 51 of which were for strikes.

Michael Mariot and Edward Mujica finished off the game without allowing a hit in either of their innings.

Two of the Orioles top 20 prospects (#4 1st baseman Trey Mancini and #19 OF Mike Yastrzemski, grandson of Red Sox legend Carl Yastrzemski) were a combined 1-6 with a walk and strikeout.

Top pitching prospect Jake Thompson (3-4) gets the ball Tuesday for Lehigh Valley after allowing two runs in 5.2 innings last week.
